STRAY CATS NO MORE...

Yes...I am trying to get some Halloween Pieces Finished....

Well...these 2 have been taking up a lot of my time...but it's paying off!!! These 2 girls were a part of a large group of strays that are living at a neighbors house.(He has 12 more) I am so "proud" of these cats...the mother cat...who we named "LEMON" because of her beautiful yellow eyes has been on her own outside since she was born more than 2 years ago and never had human contact. In just one short week she has come around and can easily be handled and picked up without a "fuss'. She has a sweet personality and has not shown any type of aggression and has the most luxe black fur I have ever seen!! Sadie...the kitten is the only one of her kittens that we were able to catch. What can I say...she has been on her own for 6 months and is now playing on the cat post with her "fuzzy mice" toys. She is also very easily handled and loves to be scratched on her head. She has sweet white markings on all 4 feet and under her neck and is very healthy. I was so worried that they were "too wild" but I was so wrong!!! It fills "my soul" to see these 2 play and cuddle just like they always had a home and someone that loved them!!! So....if you know anyone who is willing to give these 2 girls the SECOND CHANCE THAT THEY DESERVE...I can guarantee that they will be grateful and love you in return!!! Please email me if you want anymore info on these sweethearts....both have been spayed and have their shots...

ETSY LISTINGS HAVE STARTED....

My ETSY LISTINGS have slowly started. I will hopefully be posting throughout the week. My stray cats are very time consuming...next week I will start to try and handle them. I am hoping that they are not too wild all ready....they have never had human contact and they are about 6 months to 1 year. So I don't really know if it is possible. The last 5 cats that I adopted out where only 3 weeks old and were easy to handle...it only took about 4 or 5 days!!!! So if anyone has any insight about "domesticating" Feral Cats I would love some advice....

ANOTHER CAT RESCUE MISSION...

Just a quick note to let you all know that my ETSY & EBAY Listings are going to be "slightly" delayed. Once again we have rescued two more Kittens in my neighborhood...last year we rescued SIX!!! A person where I live started having a Stray live in his garage that he has refused to spay/neuter and has allowed the population to multiple to 14 cats this year, not including the 6 I saved last year. That's 20 cats in one season. Last year we domesticated 5 kittens over a month's time and found them all great homes and we spayed the Mother Cat and re-released her as a Feral Cat. Anyway, 2 kittens found their way into my garage so we have gotten them spayed and they are coming back here to recover tomorrow....so I will be very busy with these 2 "wild"cats!! I am at my wits end with this irresponsible person who lives in my neighborhood who thinks it is "cute" to watch these poor animals multiple...this isn't California weather here either, in the winter it can get very, very cold(-30) for many months...

This Skelltini Boxed Piece is very detailed...it is hard to get all the detail in the photo as well as the way that the Skelltini is leaning out of the "Grave" up on his elbows...
This piece is hand sculpted...the Skelltini is leaning out of black crepe paper ground and up against a R.I.P. Tombstone complete with painted bat and writing on tombstone. A spooky Jack O Lantern peers out over top the tombstone. Skelltini has his one arm around his awaiting friend Pumpkin Jax as the ever present Red Devil questions his decision over his other arm...another Tiny Skelly head also peers at him from the ground....you must see it in "person" to appreciate all the detail....Thanks for looking....Happy Halloween...

The piece stands 9" tall with a grinning Jax watching from the top and a Transylvanian Travelling Circus Gypsy Fortunes marquee above the box and great Vintage Owl graphic.

She is hand sculpted from clay and painted a vibrant green and sprouts gray wool hair under her Gypsy head wrap. She wears a hand dyed purple tunic with a purple dyed gauze wrap. Her hands hover over her glass Fortune Telling Ball as she envisions all your future's secrets....

I am finally getting some more pieces made. Last week I was so thrilled to "finally" get some pieces posted for sale after the National Halloween Convention...anyway, they all pretty much sold in a day....so here I am starting all over again!!!! I am not complaining though...and a HUGE THANK YOU to all those wonderful customers (they know who they are) for once again overwhelming me with collecting all of my new pieces. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
