opening on Wednsday June 30th a 9 PM EST. This spooky Gypsy Fortune Teller is tucked into a 6" X 4 3/4" wooden slide box that you may open, close or remove for a full view. The piece stands 9" tall with a grinning Jax watching from the top and a Transylvanian Travelling Circus Gypsy Fortunes marquee above the box and great Vintage Owl graphic.

She is hand sculpted from clay and painted a vibrant green and sprouts gray wool hair under her Gypsy head wrap. She wears a hand dyed purple tunic with a purple dyed gauze wrap. Her hands hover over her glass Fortune Telling Ball as she envisions all your future's secrets....

I am finally getting some more pieces made. Last week I was so thrilled to "finally" get some pieces posted for sale after the National Halloween Convention...anyway, they all pretty much sold in a day....so here I am starting all over again!!!! I am not complaining though...and a HUGE THANK YOU to all those wonderful customers (they know who they are) for once again overwhelming me with collecting all of my new pieces. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I promise to have a whole bunch of items coming by the end of this week and continuing to create more....I will have both Halloween & Christmas, some new Circus Creatures and a few Americana pieces previewing on this months' STJ update on June 13th.....See you soon....

FINALLY HOME....

Well....I am finally home from my month long "Vacation". It is good to be back....however I got a lot of work to catch up on!!!! My creations are off to the National Halloween Convention which starts April 29th. I wish I was going with them to see all of the other great Spookytimejingles Artist creations. This upcoming week I will be posting a preview of all my creations that will be debuting at the show as well as some all new Etsy treats for sale. I will also be starting a new Summer giveaway starting very soon... so stay tuned. So my apologies for my lack of posting the past month so I will try and make up for it next week....Also Spookytimejingles is having another fully decorated tree up for grabs and I will post where to purchase tickets to win it...

STILL ON VACATION....

Sorry to all my 'fans"...still on vacation and can not get any decent internet service to upload a "peak" of tonight's Spooky update. I have finally got some more Antique glass bottles in the mail....so here is my latest trio of Poison Bottles. Back by demand is "Ghastly M. Ghoul" & two of his new friends...Kranky Krampus and Jittery Jax!!!!! You may purchase them directly thru me via Paypal or visit my Etsy Shop. They are made from Antique Amber glass bottles ranging from 1910-1930 and are "topped" off with handsculpted clay heads. Enjoy....

Here is just a tiny glimpse of what all those pieces below turned into. I so enjoyed making them all, and as usual...is very difficult to part with them!!!! The "Fortune Teller Witch" turned out extremely "creepy"....and my new "Skelltini Lamp" worked out great. Cat & Fiddle is going to the National Halloween Convention in Pennsilvanyia this April! Spookytimejingles will be representing all of it's artists in all their glory at this huge Halloween event. Each bottle has a hand sculpted head with wool hair and sits a top an antique amber glass bottle from the 1940's or 1950's with actual antique Vitamin D inside!! Each "head" is embellished with a paper neck ruffle and a vintage measuring tape collar. I have further decked out the crew with ribbon, string, paper party hats, mini key tags and a vintage key.

Sugarbowl Snowman on SpookytimeJingles

Here is a sneek peak of one of my Vintage Inspired Snowmen from my "Sugar & Cream" collection. All of the other Sugar & Cream collection sold out the first day I introduced them for sale. This Sweet & Sugary fellow is going up for sale on SpookytimeJingles this Wed. Jan 13th.

He is hand sculpted and sits in an Antique Silver Plate Creamer. He is antiqued and dusted with a fine "sugary" glass glitter and holds two old fashioned Lollipops in his arm. He is further embellished with vintage style tinsel trim and a Hand Felted wool Cap. He holds a string of vintage glass Christmas balls.

My Art Quilts in Sew Somerset Magazine

Here is a look at my article "In The Doghouse" in the Winter 2010 edition of Sew Somerset. The projects are a wool Art Quilt entitled "King of Dogs" that give examples of piecing, applique and thread embellishments. The other two smaller pieces incorporate the same ideas on a smaller scale and have pictures of my "Baby Doberman Boy" Sygi and his very good friend "Libby" a Dalmation girl.


On a sad note, Libby's sister, Codie left this world for Doggie Heaven just a few days ago. We miss her very much but know that she is frolicking somewhere with the warmth of the sun on her back and visions of her "family" on her mind as she smiles a big "Doggie" smile!!!
